About

I am a Harvard-trained board certified general psychiatrist with over 30 years experience treating a wide variety of conditions and disorders associated with my specialty. I strive to provide the highest standard of care and compassion to each of my patients.

I was born and raised in Los Angeles and spent my early adult life on the East Coast where I attended college, medical school and trained as a psychiatrist. I practiced general psychiatry (psychotherapy and psychopharmacology) in Boston at a variety of academic, public sector and independent practice work settings.

In 2003, I returned to California and become a physician at Kaiser Permanente where I enjoyed a diverse general psychiatric practice while serving in a variety of leadership positions including Departmental Site Chief at the Oakland campus. I subsequently worked as a psychiatrist at The Berkeley Therapy Institute before establishing this practice.
